In short

ante.dk sets no cookies. We store and read nothing on your device – no cookies, no local storage, no pixels. That is also why you will not see a cookie banner on ante.dk: there is nothing to consent to.

We keep simple visitor statistics using Plausible Analytics, which is built to measure without cookies and without personal data. We use no tracking scripts such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and we do not follow you across websites.

Below you can read what this means in practice, and which exceptions apply to content you actively choose to load from third parties.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your computer, phone or tablet to recognise the device, remember settings or compile statistics. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as viruses.

How ante.dk uses cookies

  • No cookies from ante.dk. ante.dk is a purely informational site with no login, personal settings or shopping basket, so there is no need for cookies – not even “necessary” ones.
  • Visitor analytics without cookies. We count which pages are read, but store nothing on your device and build no profile of you. See the Visitor analytics section below. Our web server also keeps ordinary technical log files (time, page requested, browser type and IP address) for operational and security purposes; the processing of this data is described in our privacy policy (in Danish).
  • No tracking across websites. We do not build profiles, measure ads or run remarketing, and we share no information about your visit with ad networks or social media.
  • Only one third-party connection. Fonts, images and videos are served from ante.dk’s own server. The only connection to a third party is the analytics script from plausible.io, described below.

Visitor analytics

To see which pages are read, we use Plausible Analytics from Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia). Your browser loads a small script from plausible.io, which reports the page you open. The processing works as follows:

  • No cookies are set, and nothing is stored on or read from your device.
  • We record the page visited, where you came from (referring site or search engine), and your browser, operating system, device type and country.
  • Your IP address is not stored. It is used only to derive the country and to generate an encrypted identifier that is replaced every day, so the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next.
  • The statistics are aggregated. We can see that a page has been read, but not by whom.
  • Data is processed on servers in the EU, and we have a data processing agreement in place with Plausible.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, this measurement requires no consent under the cookie rules, and we process no personally identifiable information about you for this purpose. If you would still rather not be counted, most ad blockers and privacy extensions block plausible.io automatically.

Videos and contact forms

Videos. The videos shown on ante.dk are stored on our own server and played in your browser’s built-in player. The video is only fetched when you click play, and no player or other content is loaded from YouTube, Vimeo or any other third party.

Contact forms. Our forms are protected against spam by ALTCHA, which solves a small computational puzzle in your browser instead of tracking you. It sets no cookies and involves no third party. The information you enter yourself is processed as described in our privacy policy (in Danish).

redactpdf.io and our login portals (redact.ante.dk and udbud.ante.dk) are separate services. They may use cookies that are necessary to function – for example a session cookie when you log in – and have their own terms and policies, available on those sites.

How to delete or block cookies

Although ante.dk sets no cookies, you can always delete or block cookies in your browser. The procedure depends on the browser; search for “delete cookies” in your browser’s help, or see the guidance at aboutcookies.org.

Changes to this policy

Should we at some point start using cookies or similar technologies that store or read information on your device, we will update this policy beforehand and obtain consent where required.
